There is a quiet magic that happens when the table is set just so. When light catches the rim of a plate, when the weight of a handmade piece rests in your hands, when the beauty of the object becomes part of the meal itself. This is the spirit behind Eleganza, a collection born from the meeting of two worlds: the culinary artistry of Chef Martino Pulito and the centuries-old ceramic traditions of Castelli, Italy.

From the very beginning, we shared a vision to create more than dinnerware. We wanted timeless companions for the table, infused with the quiet beauty of tradition, the soul of craftsmanship, and the grace of simplicity.

Each plate in the Eleganza collection is shaped and painted entirely by hand in Castelli, a village where ceramic artistry has been perfected over generations. Some designs are brushed with delicate strokes of real gold, a technique first mastered here in the 1600s and still alive today.

At the heart of the collection lies the fleur de lis, rendered in our own house-blended olive green. This ancient emblem, first seen in Egypt, journeyed through France, becoming the symbol of royal families, before finding a lasting place in the heraldry of Florence. It speaks of honesty, wisdom, and faith, cherished across cultures for centuries.

Our smaller plates offer a minimalist, modern interpretation of the motif, while the larger pieces pay homage to Orazio Pompei, Castelli’s most celebrated 16th-century master. His fleur de lis, immortalised on apothecary jars now housed in museums such as the Louvre, brings a noble Renaissance heritage to the table.

Chef Martino Pulito’s influence is felt in every curve and glaze. His philosophy of dining, where food, setting, and experience are inseparable, shaped the collection’s balance between beauty and utility. These are plates made to be used, to hold the flavours of a season, to frame the artistry of a dish.
